Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) Pilot Program

Deposit checks from anywhere—securely, easily, and at no cost during our pilot period.

Brightview Federal Credit Union is testing Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), a mobile feature that allows you to deposit checks simply by taking a photo in our mobile app. This limited pilot will help us validate usability, controls, and performance before offering RDC to all members.

Participation in the pilot is free, but space is limited. Approved members will help us shape the future of Brightview’s digital services.

Key Details

  • Processing Time: Deposits may take five (5) or more business days to process while enhanced review procedures are in place.

  • Deposit Limits: Limits apply and may be adjusted or reduced at any time.

  • Cost: There is no cost to participate during the pilot.

  • Duration: The pilot has no set end date; Brightview will review results periodically to determine full release.

  • Revocation: Participation may be suspended or revoked at any time for risk, compliance, or performance reasons.

  • Eligibility:

    • Must be a member in good standing for at least 12 months

    • Must have active contact information (email and mobile)

    • Must be enrolled—or willing to enroll—in online and mobile banking

    • Must have a history of satisfactory account activity (no delinquency, no recent excessive NSF, or returned items)

How to Join

  1. Apply Online: Complete the secure application form below.

  2. Wait for Review: Our team will review your eligibility and reach out if more information is needed.

  3. Acknowledge & Activate: If approved, you’ll receive an RDC Acknowledgment Form to sign before activation.

  4. Start Depositing: Once activated, you can deposit checks directly through the Brightview mobile app.

Additional Information

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. If approved, you will be contacted with next steps. You may reapply in the future if circumstances change. All pilot participants agree to Brightview’s RDC terms and understand that participation may be modified or discontinued at Brightview’s discretion.
